Life Force

A 16 track jazz rap/hip-hop album (17m 32s) — released April 14th 2023 on Astral Black

London producer Eahwee returns to Astral Black with his trademark sample-led production style for his debut album proper, 'Life Force'. Since his last release, the producer has collaborated with Manga St. Hilare, Koncept Jack$on, King Kashmere & Verbz as well as receiving radio support from BBC Radio 6's Jamz Supernova, 1xtra's Cass Kid, Rinse FM's Jyoty & NTS' Kutmah.

The 17-track project is entirely instrumental (bar the Ninjah Aragniz featuring single, 'Pew Pew') showcases the producers growth since his 'Solitude' EP, this time tapping in to the producers interpreation of 808 culture and turning up the BUMP in his production style whilst still staying true to the producers contagious loop style production. Tracks like 'Heart Topic' are perfect examples of the vibrance that shines throughout 'Life Force', this is Eahwee in technicolour. Elsewhere, moments like 'So What, Soo What' exemplify how the producer can combine touchstone elements of genres, combining them into a unique sounds of their own - with 'So What, Soo What' as much footwork as it is hip-hop.

The full project is released April 14th and available as a limited run of tape cassettes, acompanied by terrariums made by Eahwee himself - a nod to our planets very own 'Life Force'.
